Proposed Project Schedule

  • The Project is supposed to commence drilling in 2021

  • The Exploration license procured by BHP lasts for 9 years from 2019-2028 and takes place in two consecutive periods

    • In the first period (first six years), the proponent is required to pursue one exploratory well before moving onto period two​

  • Each well takes approximately 75-115 days tp drill and test

  • Drilling activities are not continuous and may depend on both rig availability as well as the results of the previous well

    • Up to two MODU may be operating simultaneously in the project area​

  • Vertical seismic profiling can also take an additional 1-3 days

​
